5 stars because Seafood Island was exactly what I expected and they did that well. My husband and I tried Seafood Island on a whim because neither of us could decide what we wanted on a Saturday evening with zero reservations anywhere. We walked in and were greeted and sat immediately. The restaurant is huge, appears clean, and leans pretty hard into the seafood / casual fun / piratey vibe. It seemed decently busy (10ish tables when we got in), but the restaurant is so big it'll probably never appear packed. Our server said hello, got our drink orders right away and gave us a few minutes to go over the menu. My husband ordered the Combo G, house special, mild and I ordered the Combo B, house special, medium. Our orders came in about 20 minutes and they were piping hot. We both really enjoyed the food. I thought the seasoning was great, the medium spice was perfectly medium. We both thought the seafood was cooked/timed well. The shells peeled right off without sticking. This isn't fine dining, but it is a good, fast seafood boil. All in all, it was a good experience. We will come back.

Good food and service. We got there early and were not sure they were still open but by 7pm when we left the place was hopping.

The happy hour specials tasted like home cooked specialties. They even supply plastic bibs and wet wipes because you may need them. Fun!

Food was delicious. Waitress was an excellent server, very nice demeanor and made sure we had everything we needed. Got the special which was 1 lb of crab, 1/2 lb of sausage and 1/2 shrimp. Added 1 lb of crawfish and everything was amazing! Also had the best cheesecake we've ever had. It wasn't very busy night being so close to thanksgiving but everything came out in a very timely manner. We will be back for sure!

Went here on a friday for lunch. I loved this place. The lunch specials were perfect with a serving of rice, a small potato and ear of corn. The corn was really good too! I loved that everything was swimming in butter and you could choose the seasonings and the spice level. For appetizers, we got the coconut shrimp, nine nicely battered shrimp with a sweet coconutty sauce and ghe calamari...probably 12 nice sized rings and two dipping sauces. The lunch special came with a choice of gumbo or side salad. The gumbo had a few pieces of okra and ham in a thickened broth...not a lot of substance but s very good flavor and a decent side for the meal. Very filling and delicious!

We drove by this place during the pandemic and finally had dinner here. We enjoy a good Seafood Boil. Mia was our wonderful, knowledgeable, happy hustling server. She was ours (and others) bartender, server and cashier. She clearly knew the menu and was able to answer our questions. We really appreciate restaurant servers as the pandemic really affected them. We know restaurants are hurting and staff are expected to do so much more. Thank you to Mia for the service we got this Sunday evening.
